Brad From Deluxe “I’m riding my bike to LA!”
Brad from Deluxe (Spitefire, Anti Hero, Krooked, Thunder) just send this over:
This June 6-13th, I’m going to be riding my bike 545 from SF to LA to help raise money and awareness for the SF AIDS Foundation on the annual Lifecycle ride .
The good folks here at Deluxe (huge thanks to Jim) created a blog for me on the DLX site (http://www.dlxsf.com/bradridestola/) to help spread the word and to keep everyone up to date with my training. It’s been getting gnarly, I’ve clocked more miles on my bike in the past month than Ive spent in a car.
Before this, I only used my bike to get around the city to skatespots and bars, and now an 80 mile day on the bike seems like a stroll in the park. It’s nuts! I tell you what though, all of this time on the bike has given me the best kickflips I’ve ever done…just sayin…
