The Seeker is the ultimate freestyle carver. With its composite construction, a responsive flex allows you to get the most out of each turn. It has a drop-through truck mounting lowering the center of gravity making it easier to slide and less effort to push. There is a still a small nose and tail allowing for freestyle tricks and kick turns.

New REAL LowPro Boards

REAL has just released two new models in their LowPro lineup. The Ishod Wair and Keith Hufnagel. The new design and construction is great for several reasons:

Lower Center of Gravity - LowPro decks are center pressed with a slight nose to tail rocker, lowering the deck’s center of gravity for more control.

Quicker Pop - LowPro deck’s center rocker also provides an additional axis point causing the deck to react faster and allows for a quicker pop off the nose and tail.

Guaranteed Longer Lasting - Low Pro decks lightness and strength come from slightly tighter radius side to side concave that strengthens the deck and allows for two custom miiled thinner x-bands that reduce weight without reducing strength.

New High Tech Glue - Black seal water resistant glue that you can see between the plies which increases the deck’s strength and stiffness.

Defend Derby Skate Park

The legendary Derby Skate Park in Santa Cruz is in jeopardy. The town has sent people in to throw a four inch concrete slab over the park, ruining this iconic skate landmark for all past and future skaters who would call this place home.

If you’re in the area, or just want to voice your opinion on the matter, then call the City Parks Manager at 831-420-6146. Help keep this 40 year old park open for another 40 years.
